Trelleborg Protective Products is one of the world's leading producers of protective clothing and other related products made of rubber coated fabrics. Main product lines are composed of chemical protective suits under the brand name Trellchem and dry diving suits under the brand name Viking.
The business as such is run within the Product Area Protective Products which is a part of the global Trelleborg group companies. Total turnover within the PA TPP is app. 18 MEUR and the number of employees is app. 150.
Your job
Areas of responsibility
You have the overall responsibility for the sales operations within a set number of European markets (TBD). As such, your job is to maximize the sales opportunities for the Company?s Products consistent with the overall business objectives and good business practices of the company, to maintain and increase the company?s sales and profitability through development of both existing as well as identifying new customers and business opportunities for the products.
Main objectives will be:
• Represent Trelleborg Protective Products as single point of contact for the entire product portfolio.
• Develop relationships with clients and accounts in various European markets (both new & established) to generate ongoing profitable business.
• Design and deliver industry and product specific presentations to clients.
• Gather and report on market data and trends to prepare sales forecasts.
• Track and report on competitors within the defined market.
This position will be based out of the Trelleborg Protective Products head office in Trelleborg, Sweden. The Regional Sales Manager will report to the EMEA Sales Manager.
Your profile
Qualifications and experience
• Minimum 2 years experience in selling of technically oriented products, preferably from within the protective clothing market.
• Established relationships with key end user?s and decision makers from the target market, i.e. authorities like, fire services, police and military as well as industry, is highly valued.
• Any polymer or composites product exposure will be preferred but not required.
• Official language of the Trelleborg Group is English and the candidate must therefore possess very good knowledge of English language. Other languages spoken within the region are highly valued.
• University degree, preferable in Business or Engineering.

• Requires frequent overnight travel within assigned market
