To our head office in Uppsala we are searching for
Regional Market Manager Sample Preparation
Key Job Functions:
Support Biotage distributors by giving on-site seminars at end-customer sites
Support Biotage distributors by giving technical seminars at end-user meetings
Provide training to distributor sales reps on products and applications
Respond to distributor requests for sample prep. application advice through appropriate means, i.e. phone, e-mail and face-to-face meetings
Be the link between distributors/end-users and Biotage Application Specialist team for development of new applications
Attend scientific industry meetings as appropriate to maintain and develop a high level of sample prep. knowledge
Develop professional relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and establish a network of contacts within the industry and region
Provide market input to Product Management and Research & Development on product performance and potential for improvements
Design and implement regional promotions and marketing programs
Initiate market surveys to support the understanding of customer needs and market direction
Identify and define new market opportunities for existing product lines
The job requires:
Bachelor's degree in equivalent area
Experience of working in or selling to Bioanalytical, Environmental, Forensic, Food and/or Clinical Testing market is an advantage also experience of working with or selling sample preparation products in relation to the above markets
Good internal and external communication skills. Experience in giving lectures and/or product training classes
High degree of customer focus
Determined with a strong sense of urgency
Strong analytical skills
Willing to travel extensively
