Work description
Gunnebos Headquaters is located in Gothenburg, Gårda, you will report to Gunnebo Group IT Manager. This position is a fulltime permanent position. The job may require some travelling in Europe.
What you will work with:
Gunnebo is looking to hire a Regional IT manager, the job duties for this position will be to support, maintain and develop the current working procedures at the Regional Datacenter. Geographically will you be responsible for IT in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Further on will you cooperate with and support the National IT controllers in their daily work. You will be responsible for Regions change management and coordination of operating system upgrades and applying patches patterns, hardware upgrades and transition into new technologies. You will also be responsible to develop contingency plans to avoid long downtime and enhance the current stability of the global company IT structure.
Key Responsibilities
• EU Datacenters
• Common System Ownership
• Ensure system functionality of business critical systems
• Prepare and execute contingency plans
• 2:nd and 3:rd level support to National IT Controllers
• Develop functionality based on requirements from HQ and regional organisation
• Project Lead -Central/Regional initiatives
• Execute IT roadmap
Your skills
We see the successful candidate for this position as someone who have worked as a IT manager/consultant for at least 5 years. You will also have a university degree in Computer Science or similar working experience. A candidate with certifications such as MCSE, MCSD or MCSM would be a valuable asset for the position.
You are a true team player, have the ability to run project and lead external consultants. You enjoy networking internally to achieve a great IT environment for the organisation. You take on new ideas and projects with a positive attitude. You seek out feedback from the organisation to make improvements. Further on you see IT as a service and have a good service minded approach to enhance the IT experience for your clients. You will see it as a necessity to have structure and proper documentation to full fill your duties. You have excellent communications skills in both Swedish and English and enjoys working in a global organisation.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with the following:
• Deep experience in Office 365 and Azure (MS Cloud), since most systems at Gunnebo are cloud based is this highly valuable to have experience in.
• Experience in Networking, from LAN, protocols (TCP/IP), routing and switches/bridges.
• Deep knowledge in MS Operating Systems, Windows 7, 8 and Windows server 2012, 2008.
