The division Mining and Rock Excavation Service provides a broad range of services with the aim of maximizing customers' productivity. We focus on spare parts supply, professional service, support solutions and training. The divisional headquarters are located in Örebro, Sweden, and the distribution centers are located in China, Sweden and the United States.

Mission
Your mission in the role of Regional Demand Planner is to engage with the sales and service organization to formulate the appropriate demand plan to forecast parts required to support the sales and expected growth of Epiroc in the region. The focus will be to identify changes and events in the market and coordinate actions to adjust forecasts and stock levels accordingly.
Job description
* Drive implementation of the demand planning process in the region.
* Support Customer Centers in the local demand planning process.
* Support implementation of collaborative planning with customers.
* Liaison with marketing and service to feed market intelligence to optimize the stocking assortment and forecast levels for the region.
* Adjust forecasts according to changes in the fleet in the region.
* Coordinate with supply planning team for responses to demand plan and major market events.
* Consolidation of local demand plans to a regional plan according to set time schedules.
* Coordination and preparation for regional planning meeting.
* Report regional demand plan to Global S&OP.
* Manage the forecast parameter settings for the region.
* Implementation and follow-up of forecast adjustments.
* Analyze forecast accuracy and take corrective actions.
* Coordinate process requirements with the global process owner.
* Participate in projects to implement new processes and systems functionalities.
* Contribute to the supply chain competence development throughout our organization.
* Cross functional interaction to secure we work together to improve customer service.
Education and experience
* Experience in planning and forecasting.
* Experience in end-to-end supply chain management involving distribution, inventory management, and project management.
* Background in spare parts management at Epiroc or equivalent industries
* Experience of project management and implementing changes in a global organization
* Strong English communication skills both verbal and written. Additional language will be preferred.
* University degree in Economics/Business Administration, Supply chain/Logistics, Marketing or Engineering, or equivalent experience required.

You have great communication skills both in speech and writing and use the network around you to achieve results. You are analytical, like to identify improvement opportunities and better ways of doing things. It is important that you have a structural way of working and can manage multiple project plans and activities. You have an interest in working internationally and have excellent interpersonal skills and understanding of different cultures. Willingness to travel occasionally.
Location and travel
The location of this position is to be decided, depending on region. Occasional travel will be required.
