We are looking for a Regional Controller Nordic for Services Division based in Stockholm
Your Role
Regional Controller Nordic is responsible for entire finance business of the SER Nordic Region (Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Baltic countries). You are also responsible to control manage and report the consolidated regional view to BT SER senior management (budget and forecasting, actuals, business processes & special projects) according to trade laws and company regulations.You will be supporting the Regional Business Leader by providing quality & timely information for business decision making. Check the compliance with Budget and provide early warning to ensure the delivery of committed results.
Your Challenges
Supporting the Regional Business Leader in business reviews, all financial analysis and financial implications for decision to be taken.
Implement BT finance Strategy in line with overall BT strategy and Finance mission. Improve the time and quality of service that Finance provides to the business.
Control and oversight divisional exercises of strategic plan, budget & forecast to ensure accurate monitoring of business developments
Validation of actual results and ensures that major budget variances are quickly identified, analyses and corrective actions initiated
Coordinate financial section of regional MOR reviews
Presentation of financial results to the Division Management
Ensure consistency of the process across the region. Support the Blue Book process
Your Experience and Qualifications
• Experience in a similar responsibility, working in an international environment is required
• Highly developed understanding of Finance/ Controlling processes and tools is required
• Understand the mechanics and the interrelationships of the financial statements and accounting records.
• The ability to understand business implications of decisions and proactively use this information to improve project performance.
• The ability to utilize all financial levers and cost drivers in a project to optimize margin.
• Understand and apply information technology to enhance business and functional performance.
• Recognize, communicate and adopt best practices and knowledge. Identify framework to compare performance to internal and external standards.
• Fluent business English, and preferably local language, Swedish
• Readiness to travel
