If you are an engagement super-star and have a passion for delivering great Travel & Meetings Management, this might be the perfect role for you. The Global Travel Team at Scania Group is looking for a Regional Business Partner (RBP), who will work close with the Head of Global Travel Management to support the implementation of the global strategy and roadmap for the local markets.

We are looking for candidates with extensive experience to work globally and can be based anywhere in Europe.

In this role you will ensure that local operations align and deliver support of the global program goals and structure, including policies, procedures and processes with a focus on risk management, people experience and cost reduction.

You will provide insight for the Scania Group with overall responsibility for implementing the strategy, business planning, operations and management functions for the local teams, in alignment with key initiatives to the broader corporate travel strategy and vision. Oversees partnerships with internal stakeholders and 3rd party operational teams to drive program goals and key projects and initiatives. You will also work close with our Tech Experience Manager to implement and manage the service delivery platform and its suppliers to ensure the program is working effectively.

Our strategic vision is to transform the Global Travel program into a modern Good Practice Program which will redefine business travel standards and expectations within Scania.

Key job responsibilities

You will support with regional lead in supporting the local teams and stakeholders. The role includes being responsible for the service delivery, support and customer care of the Travel program operations. You will build and maintain strong internal relationships with regional key stakeholders across the organization (e.g. risk management, finance, purchasing and IT teams). The role includes to put the customer needs first, working backwards to develop a support and service structure that exceeds the local market expectations and integrates with critical components of the global travel program. The design and develop regional strategic plans, roadmaps, budget and resource planning; align to broader team strategies will be a part of the role. You serves as the operational liaison between third-party travel-related suppliers (Travel Management Company, Online Booking Tools, other). You ensures that quality processes and tools are incorporated into all daily activities to drive process efficiencies, standardization and continuous improvement. You will also lead project implementations and expansions coordination of internal implementation and timely program delivery.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience with a large travel program management
• 5+ years of management experience
• Previous travel agency operations or account management experience
• Experience with MS Suite of products
• Project management and negotiation experience

As a person, you have comprehensive understanding of the travel and meeting industry ecosystem, how the travel and hospitality industry operates and its unique characteristics and systems. You have the understanding of travel and meeting operation and service delivery platforms. If we could wish, you also have experience in delivering a program to support multiple functions, evaluating existing systems and processes in order to improve and grow them to support the business. You have demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with other business, product and tech teams and ability to lead through influence.
