Key Responsibilities
As a Regional Business Control Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the financial and strategic direction of the organization, ensuring alignment with long-term growth and profitability goals. Reporting to the Head of Group Business Control and working closely with the Managing Director Sweden, you will provide timely and accurate reporting, proactive analysis, and strategic insights. You will join a close team where you will have direct responsibility for managing one team member. This is a hands-on role, where you will balance high-level strategic input with active involvement in day-to-day financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee budgeting, rolling forecasts, and monthly business reviews, ensuring the accurate closing of financial figures in coordination with Chief Accountant.
Provide clear and actionable decision-making materials for the MD Sweden, CFO, and other relevant stakeholders, with a focus on KPIs, financial figures, and organizational structure.
Develop and optimize financial reporting tools, dashboards, and KPI tracking to deliver real-time insights that guide business decisions.
Drive the improvement of financial processes, reporting efficiency, and accuracy.
Conduct business case analyses in collaboration with sales teams and MD Sweden to support new initiatives and commercial opportunities.
Collaborate with local accounting teams, department managers, and project leaders to ensure seamless financial processes.
Drive group finance projects and lead strategic initiatives, including acquisitions and new business ventures.
Education, Experience, and Personal Attributes
A university degree in Business Administration and/or Finance
Minimum 5 years of experience in business controlling and finance
Experience with acquisitions and portfolio companies is a plus, but not a requirement
Proficient in financial systems, with experience in BI tools being advantageous
Advanced Excel skills
Fluent in Swedish and English
