We are currently looking for a temporary Accounting Manager, approximately for one and a half year ahead. The position is responsible for managing the closing and reporting process and ensures the organization's financial statements are compliant with all relevant regulations, laws, and reporting requirements.
This is an independent role, where you are in charge of the full accounting; from daily transactions to final audits. The work pace follows monthly deadlines and annual audits, where workload can be heavier certain periods of the year.
As our Accounting Manager you will play an important role within the finance team, managing the day-to-day financial running of the business, to ensure daily operations are met.

ASM Foods in Mjölby is part of the Barry Callebaut Group, and focuses on developing and producing customized fillings and coatings for the bakery, confectionery, dairy and ice cream industries. The site in Mjölby has two production facilities - one designed to produce waterbased products such as caramels, fruit fillings, and other sauces, and the other designed to produce fatbased products such as chocolate and compound coatings and fillings. Our production is agile and flexible, facilitating great new opportunities and creative product development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Monthly, quarterly and yearly closing of books and reporting according to IFRS
Ensure statutory compliance in all accounting activities (K3)
Develop and maintain financial processes and policies in order to comply with regulations and legislations
Be up to date on new policies and provide specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures to others
Annual report and preparation of the income tax return
Lead end-to-end financial annual audit process
Continuous improvement initiatives within accounting scope
Participate in ad hoc projects impacting finance activities
Build, maintain, and coordinate relationships with external stakeholders as well as the finance community
Professional qualifications
Bachelor's / Master's in Finance, Accounting
Technical proficiency (e.g ERP systems) and Business understanding
Extensive experience in finance with an emphasis on accounting
Experience in a multinational company
Experience in accounting, controlling, financial methodologies and reporting
Strong demonstrated use of Excel
High knowledge of Swedish accounting rules and IFRS
Must be fluent in Swedish and English
Personal skills
A self-starter being able to complete duties and responsibilities within deadlines
Analytical / hands-on / flexible / solutions oriented
You are a team player able to work effectively in a multi-tasking environment
You have an eye for detail and are meticulous without losing the feeling for the bigger picture
You drive continuous improvement initiatives regarding processes, technologies, and organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence both internally and externally
