"Drive Environmental Excellence" is one of four 2020 Strategic Objectives for Tetra Pak. The role of Global Environment is to support our business by defining and implementing an environmental strategy, developing supporting policies and ensuring implementation throughout Tetra Pak.
In your position as Recycling Value Chain Business Specialist you will be part of a team dedicated to fostering recycling activities globally to help packages made by Tetra Pak be recycled in every market. You will report to the Recycling Programme Manager, in Global Environment.
You will use your competence to support the improvement of the recycling beverage cartons' business, by mapping and understanding the different players and support value creation across the chain. You will support a process to raise value in the collection and recycling chain and therefore help enabling the expansion of beverage carton recycling across the world.
Main responsibilities
• Support market companies of Tetra Pak developing their mapping of collection/recycling value chains
• Identify Key Performance Indicators for those value chains, and monitor the progress of those KPIs over time
• Support the markets by taking action to increase their KPIs.
• Look for strategies across markets and clusters to enhance business propositions around collection, sorting and recycling
• Support market with business analysis for new elements entering the value chain (e.g. new recyclers)
• Support markets and companies producing and justifying investment plans when needed by understand and qualifying their business plans.
Publiceringsdatum2011-12-05KvalifikationerTo be successful you need to be a good networker with excellent business understanding. You are a team player with the ability to influence and motivate others. You are a great communicator and have good presentation skills with the capacity to prepare presentations to senior management. Fluent written and spoken English is a must.
Your educational background is a degree in Business Sciences or similar. You have experience with business development and a real interest in environmental sciences and recycling. A good understanding of environment general concepts and experience from working in the recycling value chain are a bonus.
