"Drive Environmental Excellence" is one of four 2020 Strategic Objectives for TetraPak. The role of Global Environment is to support our business by defining and implementing an environmental strategy, developing supporting policies and ensuring implementation throughout Tetra Pak.
In your position as Recycling Network Driver you will take part in the development of recycling strategies, acting in a team of recycling specialists all over the world. You will report to the Recycling Programme Manager, in Global Environment.
You will liaise with 10+ Technical Recycling Officers to support development of short and long-term collection and recycling programmes. The purpose of the team is to ensure sharing of best practice and supporting each other by making use of the best technical and experience assets of each individual
Main responsibilities
• Drive productizing and roll-out the recycling solutions and best practices
• Ensure the active communication and exchange of best practices among the team members
• Identify the technical problems faced by team members, and by optimizing their exchanges, support to find practical and implementable solutions
• Promote best available technologies and support learnings
• Identify clear on-the-ground excellence practices that become performance global benchmarks
• Maintain and improve a library of technical information and projects
Publiceringsdatum2011-12-06KvalifikationerTo be successful you need to be self motivated and an excellent networker, mindful of cultural sensitivities, combined with solid technical / engineering skills. You have the necessary skills to lead and create interaction of a team of technical people, and are able to demonstrate experience and seniority. To engage and create trust among stake holders is another success factor in this position. Finally you have good communication skills and capacity to prepare and deliver detailed presentations to senior management. Fluent written and spoken English is a must.
You must have a solid educational background in industrial or mechanical engineering as well as experience managing people and/or projects. A good understanding of environment general concepts and experience from working in the recycling value chain are a bonus.
