The Recruitment and Resource Planning Manager, is part of the HR Centre of Expertise, Talent Management and reports directly to the Senior Manager, Competence Sourcing, which in turn reports to the Vice President, Talent Management.
Key Responsibilities
As a Recruitment and Resource Planning manager you have responsibility for securing individual and collective capability by creating strategies, processes, methods and tools in areas related to recruitment. You will be managing the Recruitment and Resource Planning department, which includes managerial responsibility for 6 people. You will also be responsible for securing the strategies for long term recruitment in Volvo Cars, including the company's Employer Branding strategy.
Main Tasks
• Ensuring that the company's competence needs connected to resource planning are met both on operational needs basis as well as on a long term, strategic basis.
• Developing the company's capacity to recruit globally, securing diverse talent, wherever it is to be found.
• Developing and implementing Volvo Cars' Employer Branding Strategy and ensuring that the recruitment approach gives the company competitive advantage in the global market place (Automotive and Talent).
• Developing and implementing a Volvo Cars approach to Resource Planning. Driving continuous improvement in Recruitment and Resource Planning approaches, including using bought capacity/ alternative sourcing solutions to meet the business needs.
• Delivering a service to Volvo Cars for external and managerial recruitment using various selection tools and methods.
Competence Requirements necessary
We are looking for an experienced, motivated and driven person to take responsibility for Recruitment and Resource Planning. We think that you are a person with high strategic capability, who is constantly driving for result and have an ability to energize individuals and groups. Your communication and collaborations skills are excellent and you are open to and can lead people through change. As a Recruitment and Resource Planning Manager you should have the following qualifications:
• University Degree, preferably in Business Administration, HR, Behaviour Science or equivalent experience
• Experience of leading/managing people, preferably in a global corporation.
• At least 5 years experience in the field of recruitment and resource planning
• Good understanding of recruitment demand and external marketplace/trends
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Strong business orientation and customer focus
