About the position
Perido is now looking for a service minded and outgoing receptionist for our client, a Chinese technical research and development company focused on finding smarter ways within mobility. They are working in a multicultural, international environment and are receiving many visitors from China and many other countries on a daily basis. The vacancy is in their nice office in Gothenburg.
Your daily tasks
In your role as receptionist you will provide a broad range of support. The aim is to secure a high level of service to the organization and ensure that day-to-day business runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for the reception being well-functioning and attractive, and big focus will be on providing good service as you will - among many other things - receive and welcome visitors, handle keys & ID-badges and be responsible for the office's joint administration. This includes for example posting invoices, postal service handling and plan, book and coordinate events, meetings and visits. Many visitors are international, and a lot of contact will take place in English, therefor it's necessary that you feel as comfortable with your English as with your Chinese. Swedish is only a "good -to-have"- language and not important.
Other common tasks in your daily work:
Translations oral and written, Chinese to English & English to Chinese.
Take calls and manage the switchboard.
Travel booking and administration.
Arrange catering for meetings.
Onboard/offboard employees - face to face and in systems.
Continuous supervision of conference rooms and common areas.
Facility fault reporting.
Manage and update information on intranet.
Be in contact with external suppliers of facility support, IT-helpdesk, landlord etc. to deliver great service to your co-workers.

Your qualifications

You handle your work diligently and efficiently, always with service in focus. It requires skills in human relations, attention as well as written and oral communication. Requirements
High school degree.
Proven experience in reception, service & administration.
Office programs should be well known from the start. (You'll work with a lot of other programs but will have the possibility to learn all of them.)
Experience from oral and written translations English Chinese, Chinese - English.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Native in Chinese & fluent in English.

Meritorious
Swedish: both spoken and written

Contract type and hours
Full time. Consulting assignment to 2021-05-31. Start 2020-11-23.
