The role of Receptionist and Mundekulla Guest Experience Leader is focused on creating a unique customer experience. From early phase contracting and development of the unique elements of the Mundekulla experience, to on-site reception and support, to after-event follow-through, feedback and recurring interaction.
The Mundekulla Guest Experience Leader is expected to bring relevant experience in project management, coordination of housekeeping and hospitality services as well as identifying, collaborating with, and instructing team members. The job involves a mix of office-based administration and liaising with clients, internal and external service providers and stakeholders outside the office environment.
The Mundekulla Guest Experience Leader is responsible for the implementation of the contracted services along the guest's Mundekulla journey. As such he/she coordinates the agreed stay in Mundekulla as a single-point-of-contact between guest and other Mundekulla teams. He/she ensures a welcoming atmosphere in the reception, conference, and guest facilities. The Mundekulla Guest Experience leader acts as a catalyst for customer & guest feedback, addresses these in own responsibility as appropriate, and contributes to crystalizing areas where Mundekulla could improve its service levels. He/she mandates and oversees the house-keeping services and team.
Variations in workloads relate to seasonal demands - some unsociable hours and extra workload may be necessary during busy periods and leader will be expected to deal with emergencies. Working on weekends during events is standard. During high season (June-Sept) full availability is required. This is a full-time position.

The Customer Experience & Housekeeping lead has a direct reporting line to the Mundekulla Manager.

Qualifications and skills required
The successful candidate brings practical experience in guest relations and hospitality services, interaction with commercial customers (conference leaders) and their conference participants, as well as experience in coordinating team efforts across a variety of competency fields (e.g. facility management, kitchen & catering, house-keeping).
Although the Mundekulla guest experience leader role is open to candidates from a variety of educational backgrounds, a higher degree may benefit the successful candidate, complementing practical experience and skills from management roles. Swedish language skills at C2 (preferably "native"), as well as English language skills at B2 or higher (preferably C1) will be required.
There are no specific qualifications required as standard for hospitality management roles, while

General management
• Contributes to developing vision, plans and projects to enhance Mundekulla 's recognition as a Conference & Retreat Center of choice, securing appropriate booking, customer satisfaction, and utilization; agreeing commitments with team leaders to share in the delivery of related work-packages and making policy decision to ensure smooth operation of all Mundekulla activities.
• Requests, instructs and oversees the House-keeping activities.
• Supports the budgeting & planning finances and production to maintain Mundekulla progress against agreed parameters; keeping customer & guest records and other required records accurate.
• Approving the requests coming from house-keeping; requesting additional funding from the Mundekulla Manager for non-planned expenses and investments.
• Carry out day-to-day troubleshooting and address problems as they arise.

Positioning of Mundekulla
• Is the main on-site Mundekulla face to the customers and guests
• Contributing to customer acquisition interactions; marketing the Mundekulla 's services & products.
• Supports the interactions with the neighbours and wider community in Mundekulla and nearby villages to create a favourable view on Mundekulla Retreat & Conference Center.
Team leadership
• lead by example in maintaining service standards
• Oversight of the house-keeping team for their day-to-day operation;
• Ensuring engagement & satisfaction of permanent staff, volunteers, and contracted resources
• recommending and assisting in the recruitment of assigned resources and other personnel. Planning and implementation of role specific trainings for staff and volunteers, mentoring, coaching
Operational responsibilities
• making sure that other functions are briefed on customer & guest programs and expectations in a timely manner. Confirming that products, services, and infrastructure are enhancing customer experience and are ready for deadlines, such as conferences, retreats, festivals, and rental guests.
• Helps in ensuring health and safety standards across the farm estate.
Misc.
• Deputizes Vaktmästare during scheduled absences and emergencies. This includes in particular the organisation of emergency repair and maintenance providers.
• Is deputized by Volunteering & Project lead during scheduled absences and emergencies.
