The Job
Rebtel is growing at a fast pace. Our system is up and running 24/7 and we act on a market with high competition. This sets high demands on what we deliver. However, the atmosphere is open and our staff is very committed to working together to reach our high goals.
As a VoIP specialist you will be the primary resource for handling technical VoIP related cases and work together with service providers to secure the Rebtel service quality and stability. You will closely interact with our infrastructure team and SIP developers. You report to our Back Office Manager.
Key areas of responsibility:
• Carrier interoperability and testing
• Handling third line VoIP related problems
• Dispute investigation from a VoIP perspective
Your Profile
We think you have well documented skills in:
• Level2-3 networking
• SIP protocol
• RTP protocol
• Wire shark
• Asterisk
• SER
• Linux
Previous VoIP experience is meritorious. You have a good understanding of network protocol and standards. You probably have a technical academic degree and a great interest in this area.
You thrive on problem solving and you are thorough in your work. Your quality standards are high, but you can balance that with a sometimes high work load.
