The Electromobility organization is responsible for the complete development lifecycle of our electric powertrains - from advanced engineering through product development into the maintenance phase. Electromobility - Power conversion develop most hardware within electromobility vehicles except for the batteries and power cables - serving all parts of Volvo AB. The department is split into two areas: Motor Drive System (MDS) - Electric Machines, Electrical Motor Drive, and its SW - and Electrical Distribution and Charging (ED&C) - Junction boxes, DCDC converters, Monitoring ECUs, Charging ECUs and Charging Inlets and more
The role
As Reactive Quality Leader you will take lead on the Customer Problem Issues (CPI) within Power Conversion according to our Quality process to meet the lead time targets. Working with cross-functional teams from the project Kick-off until Market Ready (I.E. corrective actions introduction in manufacturing and/or aftermarket).
The work is mainly reactive, but the knowledge should be transferred to the new development phase.
Project management tasks
Lead the Epic / CPI through the different phases according to our Jira based 8D Problem Issue Process, as well as secure the QDCF of the proposed solutions and managing high level budget, plans and milestones. You will participate in regular meeting series where you will be representing Power Conversion regarding quality topics, and you will be presenting status when needed in our decision meetings.

• quality oriented problem solver. You have been working in automotive product development for years and have experience working as a project manager and/or quality leader or similar. You thrive when working with many different tasks or projects simultaneously, and you are happy when discussing tough problems with a supplier.
Essential skills and needed experience:
Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent
Experience in project management and/or line management
Good overall product technical knowledge in the automotive fields
Experienced in automotive industry, power electronics or electrical drive line
Experienced on Quality tools; RCA, Quality Screening, 8D etc...
Fluent in English, verbally and in writing
It is meritorious if you have...
A certification within Project Management and/or Agile way of working
Experience of Electromobilty / traction voltage product development
