Fulfilment Availability & Support
Take overall accountability and direct responsibility for a high-performing Fulfilment Availability and Support organisation from an end-to-end perspective. Contribute to a seamless customer fulfilment process by managing flow and capacity, secure product availability at all times and secure an optimal utilisations of our network for customer orders. This by always adding value to the customer proposition and contributing to profitability.
ABOUT YOU
As a person you are inspired by the IKEA vision, values and culture and eager to understand the IKEA business and customer needs to improve the business with focus on customer satisfaction. You lead the business through people and enjoy applying strategic and tactical approaches for analysing business opportunities from customer perspective.
We believe you have a university degree in logistics, economics, business administration or 3 - 5 years of experience and proven performance in logistics/commercial/supply chain on operational or tactical level. You lead projects and processes on country/market/national level with proven ability to influence in a matrix organisation through strong interdependent leadership.
You have knowledge in following areas:
• store operations and outbound process
• meeting and interacting with various business partners especially in matrix relationships
• IKEA business model, the strategic landscape and IKEA ways of working
• key performance measurement used to plan, follow up and steer the business with a customer-centric approach
• IKEA processes, supply chain, warehousing operations and service business
• of the customer and co-worker needs, demands and expectations on the markets
• strong market and industry intelligence
• change management and leading in the unknown/exploring
• how to identify and involve relevant stakeholders in a project, process or question to make things happen
• financial competence and understanding of the financial impact on total network
• relevant IT solution landscapes associated with Customer Fulfilment
In addition you are excellent in building relationships across the organisation by your good communication skills. You are strategic in your work and have an analytical oriented thinking when planning and maintaining work processes and a strong ability to identify need and drive change within the organisation acting in multi-cultural, interdependent and matrix environments.
ABOUT THE JOB
In the role as Range and Order Allocation Leader you will define, establish and ensure the implementation of Reverse Flow related elements of business strategies with a long-term focus together with the Group Fulfilment Availability and Support team under the leadership of the Group Customer Order Manager.
You will be responsible for:
• seamlessly enabling operations and an efficient distribution network by securing an end to end planning and fulfilment process
• reviewing suggested range allocation to secure agreed goals on availability while monitoring, handling deviations and activities connected to regular, large and exceptional orders
• the design, documentation, measurement, development and continuous improvement of a standardized, efficient and effective range and order allocation process based on strong collaboration and co-creation with the markets
• the follow up and evaluation of the ongoing range and order allocation initiatives worldwide and to secure that the intended processes, ways of working, systems, tools and methodologies are used to perform the processes
• supporting the Group Customer Order Manager in keeping the total picture of Customer Order together and synchronised in assigned topics
• developing improvements in working methods, systems and tools and for implementing global routines, systems solutions and ways of working with all partners in the Supply Chain, Retail and CFF in close cooperation and co-creation with the Market Customer Order team to secure continuous improvement
• contributing with both knowledge and expertise on related topics to optimal operational and multichannel development, related business- and process forums, sourcing activities as well as to all matrices, global and market initiatives and competence networks
• providing support, guidance and sharing of best practices with the respective market function in the areas of expertise to secure an inspiring and motivating environment where people and talent are continuously developed including long-term competence building and succession planning, diversity and inclusion
• promoting and stimulating entrepreneurial orientation and contribution to development and innovation for the own organisation and total IKEA
• considering the parameters connected to the CFF sustainability agenda in daily work
• especially in connection with securing agreed goals on range and order allocation across all touchpoints
