Business Unit Network Products (BNEP) is responsible for the company's industry leading radio and transport products and solutions and is the foundation for Ericsson's technology leadership. BNEP is focused on securing our ongoing market leadership in radio, taking a leadership position in 5G and in-building/small cell solutions, and continuing to invest for sustainable technology leadership within a highly competitive market. Our mission within Business Management and Sales (BMS) is to Grow sales of BNEP by enabling the industry's sharpest insight selling on a global scale. In BMS we develop 'best value for money' solutions, based on genuine customer understanding and with the aim of fostering their business needs - apply learnings towards our Regions and our BU.

Position Summary

We are now looking for a technically skilled person who wants to take the next step in the career and work closer to our customers. We offer the role as RAN Solution Manager within Business Management Sales - Presales Network Solutions Radio. You will be a member in BMS Regional Sales Team for RNEA.
You will be responsible for guiding and supporting the Regions and Customer Units in the Sales of Radio products and solutions with the purpose to win new business. You will do this by offer compelling sales tactics, including techno-commercial value argumentation and competitive benchmarking.
We expect you to have excellent technical knowledge in 4G and 5G together with solution creation capability and a great interest in business, commercial, market and customer insights. You have leadership skills, can drive a team and are good at networking and "sell" your story. You can persuade and deliver results and meet customer expectations by using consultative selling skills. We also see that you have strong customer focused communication when formulating strategies, concepts and creating sales innovations.

Responsibilities & Tasks:

Support BNEP Business Management and Sales to achieve our Market Share, Orders Booked, Net Sales and Product Contribution targets.
Drive sales activities related to Radio products and solutions to support the Region in reaching their strategic Business Targets & Plans, including direct operator interactions.

Support the Region in creating competitive tenders for Radio products and solutions to win deals. This includes communicating technical advantages and Operator benefits on Ericsson Radio products and solutions, in tender activities and tender clarifications as well as answering the Regions daily questions.
Support the Region with operator workshops to communicate Value Argumentation, Statement of Direction, Roadmaps, Products, Features, solutions and proactively engage with Customers in activities related to Radio products and solutions.

Coordinate prioritized Region requirements and escalations for Radio products and solutions.

Drive and guide the Region Radio Community with the purpose of sharing information about Sales Tactics, Value Argumentation, Statement of Direction, Roadmaps, Products, Features, solutions.


Position Qualification

• As RAN Solutions Manager in the BMS Presales organization we expect you to have a holistic mindset, strategic thinking and that you are able to cooperate and generate energy.
• We see that you have visionary thought leadership with a documented experience in driving change towards an ongoing dynamic operator environment.
• We also see that you are collaborative, reaching-out, building bridges, understanding the bigger picture and that you have a positive can-do attitude and a fighting spirit to win deals.
• As RAN Solutions Manager you will possess the following:
• In-depth technical knowledge and extensive experience (3-5 years) from LTE and or 5G product development and design
• Thorough knowledge of GSM, WCDMA
• In-depth technical knowledge and detailed experience of Ericsson Radio System products, architecture and functionality
• Understanding of practicalities of deployments, RF performance, and overall site design requirements and solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of overall RAN products and solutions including Radio Network Design
• Combination of business skills and technical skills
• Demonstrated understanding of Operators CAPEX/OPEX spend and radio network build challenges and how to translate these into network solutions
• Excellent coordination skills, like to drive teams, organize events and activities
• Excellent team cooperation skills
• Excellent internal and external communications skills
• Outstanding ability to influence and gain alignment for key initiatives & activities
• Relevant M.Sc University Degree
