We are looking for a RAM Manager to be based in Stockholm for our Rail Control Solutions Division
Rail Control Solutions (RCS) is a world leader in developing, engineering and installing rail control and signalling safety systems, products and services. RCS enables the safe and efficient operation of rail networks and trains.
Your Role
You will fill the role as RAM manager in different bids and customer projects. The RAM manager ensures that RAM plans are produced for all projects in accordance with customer requirements and the overall project plans. The RAM manager oversees that all RAM documents are delivered on time and has the right quality to meet the requirements.
You will participate in coordination of activities in accordance with the FRACAS process to facilitate field data collection and failure analysis and drive improvement of the Region?s RAM process and developing RAM document templates which are tailored to projects with specific classes of RAM
Your Challenges:
Coordinate RAM engineering in bids and customer projects
Participate as RAM engineer in key projects
Coordinate between system engineering and ITC/Services to enable FRACAS
Participate in development of RAM processes, improvement activities etc.
Your Experience and Qualifications:
We believe you are educated to degree level or have gained equivalent knowledge through 3-5 years of relevant working experience
Understanding of theory underpinning RAM activities including knowledge of statistical analysis
Ability to perform all types of RAM analysis required for projects being delivered in the region.
Ability to take decisions concerning RAM aspects in projects.
Knowledge of CENELEC standards and European rail traffic laws and regulations.
Very good knowledge of the railway business, approval processes and technical systems
Be able to lead others, guiding members of different projects as well as other employees, assessors and customers.
Good coordination skills.
Be able to identify and implement flexible solutions to complex problems with high integrity and safety awareness.
Good communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
A flexible approach and the ability to work effectively against deadlines.
Be able to travel to some extent.
Fluent in English, Swedish is an advantage
In order to be successful in this position you need be well organized, structured and with the ability to work effectively against deadlines. Since this position includes cooperation with both internal and external stakeholders, you need to be social with good communication and collaborative skills but you also need to have a high degree of integrity.
