We are looking for a RAM/ILS-Engineer
for our Services Division in Västerås.
The Services Division provides a full suite of products to help our customers optimize their asset value over the lifetime of the vehicles. We are the first choice for reliability, availability, maintainability and safety.

Your Role
You will plan and coordinate all RAM/ILS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Integrated Logistics Support) activities in order projects. You will be responsible for the RAM/ILS requirements management - ensuring that all requirements are understood and allocate RAM/ILS requirements on subsystems and products. You will also be responsible for performing RAM analysis in order projects (i.e. FMEA, RBD, FTA, BLESS and maintenance analysis), and for presenting them to the customer. You are also to review and influence design with respect to RAM.
Your Challenges
Cost for maintenance is a great part of the costs for train operation. Bombardier has a long tradition of helping the operators to minimize these costs and make rail traffic even more competitive. As a RAM/ILS engineer you will work close together with the designers to develop reliable and maintenance friendly rail systems for the future. You will perform reliability and maintainability analysis in order to minimize life time cost for the complete life cycle of the train. You will also be responsible for further developing of our methods and tools in the area.
Your Experience and Qualifications
We expect you to have a Master of Science degree and we require that you have a minimum of 5 years relevant working experience, working with RAM-analysis and requirement management. To be successful in this position you need to be fluent in English and have a high level of computer skills, especially in Excel and databases as Access.
