We are now looking for a Radio Systems Technical study driver, one of the key technical leadership roles in System Management within PDU Radio. In this role, you will be part of existing journey leading the system work from customer request into design implementation. In this role you will drive solutions cross product areas and cross organizational boundaries globally.
You will drive technical requirements, investigations, strategies and studies of new radio product solutions into the implementation teams. Starting with requirements derived from customer requests through strategic product management, into a phase of study and continuous analysis and requirement break-down into radio, ERS, and RAN levels. Your role will include all development activities such as: requirement analysis, system design, architecture design, hardware design, software design, integration, verification, simulations, tools design, Product Lifecycle Management support and product documentation. You will be the technical leader of a group of talented developers.

We are working with all cutting-edge technologies and products developed by Ericsson PDU Radio, including 5G products.

Responsibilities & Tasks:
• Drive Radio solutions related technical studies and strategies
• Drive and participate in RAN and ERS level system related technical studies
• Interact with Product Management and technical experts to define the portfolio and product requirements
• Perform requirement breakdown to Radio level (SW and HW).
• Business case analyze
• Consider total cost of ownership and customer demand aspects in radio product development
• Evolve the Radio HW and SW architecture and system level design to meet the product requirements
• Lead & manage different teams within systems and design departments globally

Core Competences:
• Product Development Knowledge and Product Life Cycle Management Knowledge
• Radio product system design
• RBS/RAN systems (GSM/WCDMA/CDMA/LTE/TD-LTE/NB-IoT/5G)
• Knowledge of requirement flow from product management through customer release
• Communication and leadership
• Planning, self-organization, self-motivation and result oriented
• Lean & Agile product development
• High focus on meeting customer expectations

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
• MSc level in a technical discipline or the equivalent level of knowledge
• Fluency in English oral as well as written
• Minimum 5 years' experience in product development in telecom or relevant areas
• Good understanding of Project management (e.g. Manage budget, time plan, resources, risks, multiple sites)

You ideally have:
• Radio Requirement refinement and allocation skills (from RAN, RBS-level to Radio level)
• Experience in Radio HW and SW design implementation, architectures, integration and verification
• Experience in RBS/Baseband HW and SW design implementation, architectures, integration and verification
• Broad competence within both Radio and Digital functionality
• Customer interaction related experience
• Documented work as technical leader in advanced technical projects including both HW and SW with team sizes from 5-50 people.
