About this opportunity
At Radio Products Design Sweden, we strive to be the most driven Radio Network R&D unit in the industry. We work in an agile set up to develop and maintain high-quality Radio products which give our customers solutions securing future growth. We develop 5G, LTE, WCDMA, GSM, CDMA Network solutions for operators all over the world.
We work with the newest technology within telecommunication development. The work offers a rich number of opportunities in an everyday learning, creative and exciting atmosphere! Kista, Stockholm, is our base but the world is our arena. We are now increasing our team footprint and due to this, we are looking for new colleagues with a passion and interest in C++ and 5G development!
What you will do
You will join a multi-functional development team with responsibility from pre-study to customer acceptance test for new functionality. The Team systemise, design and test the software on the Radio Units and take joint responsibility for all team tasks. In addition, you will:
Take on complex technological problems with the power of your colleagues
Use analytic thinking to achieve the best possible solutions for your team
Take part in the end-to-end development, working closely with software and hardware teams, along with collaboration outside your own subject area
Work software development in C++ in a complex system architecture with software and hardware components, including software system design and architecture principles
Test automation, preferably using Java
You will bring

In addition, you can plan and drive your own work to reach common goals together with your team. As part of NextGen we are seeking you who wish to explore your career with us and have less than 3 years of relevant experience.
In addition, we believe you have/are:
Curiosity about new technologies and like to work in a fast-paced and agile software environment
BSc or MSc degree in a technical field, such as Computer Science, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or Wireless Communication or the equivalent level of knowledge
Understanding of continuous integration, test and troubleshooting skills in the software product development
Programming experience using object-oriented languages primarily C++, however Java is also beneficial considering the test development parts
Good understanding of Linux and familiar with Jenkins, GIT, Eclipse and/or Vscode are considered a merit
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
