Radio Products Sweden 1 strives to be the most driven Radio Network R&D unit in the industry. We work in an agile set up to develop and maintain high-quality Radio products which give our customers solutions securing future growth. We develop 5G, LTE, WCDMA, GSM, CDMA Network solutions for operators all over the world.
Radio Products Sweden 1 is part of the Product Development Unit (PDU) Radio, within Development Unit Networks. We work with the newest technology within telecommunication development. The work offers a rich number of opportunities in an everyday learning, creative and exciting atmosphere! Kista, Stockholm, is our base but the world is our arena.
We are looking for a Software Developer to contribute to Ericsson's 5G successes!
The team systemizes, craft and test the software on the Radio Units and take joint responsibility for all team tasks. We are working with product development in C++ and the functional testing is done in Java.
What you will do
Work in a cross-functional team with responsibility from pre-study to release and customer acceptance for new functionality
Drive SW development in C++ in a complex system architecture with SW and HW components
Take in a sophisticated system as well as fix difficult problems
Contribute with competence in Software system design, Architecture principles and Test automation
Mentor and support other developers
You will bring
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or Wireless Communication or equivalent
At least 3 years of overall experience in SW development and architecture, preferable in Radio SW
Competence and experience in programming using object-oriented languages C++ and Java
Knowledge of embedded and/or real-time software
Understanding of continuous integration, test, product integration and troubleshooting skills in the radio domain
Understanding of Radio products, Radio SW and HW
Knowledge of product development and product lifecycle management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
