hela Sverige Reuse and Interoperability is responsible for HW sub-system and platform architecture design within Product Development Unit Microwave.
As a radio sub-system designer and platform responsible, you'll take part in the whole design process, from pre studies to production introduction with emphasis in the early phase. Your tasks will include definition of HW requirements, drive reuse and interoperability of HW blocks, align HW platforms, support development and maintenance projects. You'll also share responsibility for development plans. Our products should fulfill world leading requirements for performance and quality, combined with competitive manufacturing cost.
Being in our team you will work together with very skilled colleagues in different competence areas. You will interface with HW and SW designers, system designers and product managers.
We are an international organization and our team is multi-site, so you will have lot of cooperation with other sites.

Radio system design and HW architecture are genuine interests. Knowledge of transmission networks is an advantage, as is familiarity with Design for Six Sigma.
Formal Qualifications:
• A PhD or MSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience of microwave radio system design and HW
architecture
• Experience of MMIC and microwave design
• Good written and spoken English
• Good communication and co-operation skills
• An inquisitive mind, and a thirst for knowledge
• Good networking skills and personal drive
