The RF ASIC (Radio Frequency-Application Specific Integrated Circuit) department is strengthening its Radio Engine team that is developing and testing the whole radio solution for the cellular platform. Besides performing the tests, the team is also developing SW and HW for the Radio Engine tests. The work is done in close cooperation with RF-ASIC designers.
The Radio Engine team will now grow in Lund (the other teams are located in France and Finland). We are now looking for both SW and one HW developers. It is an advantage if you have understanding and knowledge in the area of network signalling (GSM, WCDMA and/or LTE), but even more important is that you can work independently and interact with several different groups.
Your main responsibilities will be to develop measure and improve our Radio Engine solution.
HW Radio Engine tasks:
Validation of cellular radio system
Develop the Radio Engine including all radio components
Validation of the RF performance (knowledge of RF instruments is needed)
Improve RF performance
Competence:
M. Sc. or B. Sc. degree in a relevant field
A minimum of 5 years work experience within the telecom industry
Solid RF knowledge, development and measurements
RF-ASIC design is beneficial
Good understanding of telecommunication systems and Network Signaling protocols in particular
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Excellent English skills, both verbal and in writing
High ability to work independently, take initiative and drive own work
Good social and networking skills to support teamwork in project
Well organized, structured and curious
You should enjoy working in a high paced international environment
