Position Summary
Analog Design is one of several units responsible for the development of new radio HW products that are included in Ericsson's base stations for GSM, WCDMA, LTE, 5G and beyond. The main responsibility is the implementation of the receiver and transmitter parts of the radio using state of the art technology. You will be an important member of a design team working with systemization, design, integration and verification of the new products. You will work in a global environment where we cooperate with Ericsson organizations and suppliers all over the world on a daily basis. The team is very skilled and supportive and together you will face new and interesting challenges every day.
You will also have the possibility to work with new experiments aiming for future products.
We are now looking for an experienced radio designer to join our world class radio design team working with the future Ericsson Radio System ERS radios!
Responsibilities & Tasks:
• Analog RF design (link budget, line-up, schematics, layout)
• Systemize and define requirements on analog blocks and input to higher level radio requirements
• Design verification in lab environment
• Drive continuous improvements of products and processes
Position Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
• MSc in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics or equivalent level of knowledge
• We think that you have minimum 4-6 years of experience with HW design.
• Circuit design schematic CAD and RF simulation knowledge, e.g. AWR or ADS.
• Layout RF design perspective and EM tool knowledge for isolation and signal integrity simulations.
• Link budget and allocation experience for active and passive component and filter requirement calculation and simulations.
• Self-driven and solution oriented
• A creative and innovative mindset
• Excellent communication skills
