Radio products are key to the Ericsson business and algorithms that handle the hardware characteristics and impairments are important to their performance. We are now looking for a software developer interested in radio algorithm design and hardware realization options. Mathematics, digital design, software, hardware and scripting skills as well as understanding of air interface performance are some of the competencies we are looking for. Curiosity and interest in these different aspects with deeper knowledge in one or more of the areas is important for you to excel in our team. We believe you have a few years of experience after your Master of Science. We are organized in development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.
What you will do
Work in a team to ensure a strong radio portfolio through exploring different ways of realizing radio near algorithms soft
Understand the radio near algorithm requirements and characteristics
Evaluate different inhouse and external soft realization options
Provide input to and influence the HW design and accelerators to allow an efficient implementation and vice versa influence the algorithm design to facilitate implementation
Explore new technology relevant to the domain
Contribute to establish the development flow
You will bring
Education: PhD or a MSc in Wireless communication, Signal processing, Mathematics or Engineering Physics.
Programming experience: Embedded C/C++, Matlab/Python,
Good communication skills
Strong drive and be flexible
A genuine technology interest
Radio product development knowledge is not required, but good to have
