The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 50 years and is used to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems. Tasks:
Do you want to become part of our R&D Project Management team and get the opportunity to work with our leading edge technology? As project manager you will lead product development projects within the control platform MACH and electric converter valve domains. Our MACH platform consists of high performance software (ranging from real-time to HMI) together with optimized firm- and hardware, all designed to control and protect HVDC systems. Our project portfolio also contains a number of electric converter valve development projects. The converter valves are a key component in HVDC technology, leading product development projects in this area will give you the opportunity to impact the future of HVDC technology and environmentally friendly power supply on a global level.
We can offer you the opportunity to participate in the entire development process - from feasibility study and design to implementation, verification and integration.You will work in close collaboration with your project team and other stakeholders, both with internal and external contacts, and together with your 80 talented colleagues you will develop and maintain HVDC products.
Requirements:
You have several years of experience from project management and hold a degree within a relevant domain such as computer science, electronic engineering or power engineering. You are an open-minded team player with a holistic view and have the ability to understand the technical R&D process. You are an excellent team leader with an interest in technology. English is required, other languages are a merit.
