R&D is hiring a Lead engineer to be a part of the team developing and maintaining Husqvarna's Floor Saw portfolio. Together with our system, design, electrical, test/verification engineers.
As a lead engineer you are responsible for R&D project deliveries and activities required in this process (e.g.):
• Create technical specifications
• Plan/lead test and verification activities
• Lead risk and DFMEA analyses
• Recommend design solutions
• Lead the R&D project team but also manage your own deliveries
• Drawing and concept reviews
This position requires a broad background and a genuine technical interest with an interest to learn about new technology areas. As well as experience with mechanical components and combustion engines your expertise definitely spreads into electrical motors, battery products and connectivity.
Meritorious is knowledge within:
• Battery systems and integration
• Connectivity
• Production engineering
• Functional safety and system compliance
• Technical investigations and technical specification
• Technical project management
What we can offer in this position
You will build a broad network both internally within Husqvarna and externally among suppliers to achieve the best results. The team work very closely with our production facilities in USA and China, thus international travelling is required a couple of times a year.
You will be part of a dedicated and experienced team working close to our products and you will experience hands-on work in our own workshop, where we build and test both prototypes and finished products.
