In this role you will be responsible for heading several development teams in Sweden, in PA Process Control Platform, ensuring that ABB Process Automation is able to serve its markets and customers with leading automation system solutions.
You will enable the teams to continuously innovate, execute effectively and grow. You have a strong interest in technology and apply a coaching and visionary leadership.
Your responsibilities
Full line management responsibility for embedded software development teams in Sweden
The teams consist of 5-8 experienced SW developers each and are working in accordance with the scrum concept, with sprints, back logs, scrum masters and product owners
Own and manage the collaboration of PCP Embedded Software R&D with other stakeholders internally and externally
Facilitate quarterly increment planning of work, ensuring proper prioritization
Develop and grow the organization and its people
Ensure continuous improvement and drive process development for software development

Your background
Five years of experience in technical management, working as R&D Team leader, Project Manager or Line Manager in R&D with embedded software development
Sound knowledge of software design and the Process Automation market
Knowledge of cultural differences and ability to work with them
Interest and experience in organizational and people development
A master's degree in software or electrical engineering or comparable
Fluent Knowledge of English, ability to communicate in Swedish
Good to have: experience with real time operating systems, functional safety and cyber security
