The Control Technologies business unit is responsible for development, marketing and sales of automation products - Hardware and Software for monitoring, control and optimization for all kinds of industries. Digitalization offers unique possibilities to synchronize data from manufacturing processes and we are at heart of increased customer values such as increased productivity, reduced energy consumption and lowered down-time and maintenance cost.
Your challenges
Your main mission will be to lead an R&D department, through your three direct reporting managers, of 55 skilled colleagues within software development located in Västerås. As R&D Team Manager, you will be given a highly visible position at a successful R&D department. You will lead the department towards common goals with the responsibility for improving development processes as well as financial responsibility, working cross-functionally and being part of our management team.
Your profile
First and foremost, your leadership skills are vital for success. You build your leadership on trust, collaboration and great communication. It's a must that you are an experienced leader with at least 5 years in leadership positions. You developed your leadership skills in global matrix organizations within software development. The software experience combined with your leadership skills make you an excellent leader.
Furthermore you hold a Masters' degree in Computer Science or similar with experience from R&D of software products. You have experience and strong interest in modern software technologies and ways of working.
Fluency in English and Swedish is a must, written and spoken alike.
