We are developing, designing, manufacturing instruments and serving our customers from our facilities in Kista, Sweden and Kajaani, Finland. Our customers are pulp and paper producers all over the world and we are regarded as a partner for them since 100 years. Our products include advanced measurement technology, mechanical and electrical design as well as embedded and internet connected software. We are a small organization of no more than 80 employees in Kista/Kajaani which allows us to act as a highly committed team focused on the importance of our business.
Tasks:
Your main mission will be to lead a R&D Software team of approximately eight people. As the R&D Manager you are responsible for the longterm strategy of the software portfolio. To be successful you develop the competence within the software team an also by recruiting new competences from outside ABB. We offer you a great opportunity to be a part of the development of a small unit within the global company.
We are a small team with full control of our operations and results, focused on delivering high quality products and services as the market leader in our specialized area of pulp & paper measurements.
The main location in this role would be in Kista.
Requirements:
You have a university degree in software engineering as well as a few years industry experience. Some experience in a management role, e.g. as a manager, project leader, team leader or SCRUM master is required.
Since you will be working in a global, multicultural environment, in addition to Swedish, we expect you to be proficient in English as well, written and spoken alike.
