This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we've announced the plan for SoftBank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. This Position reports to R&D Team Lead.
Your role and responsibilities
Are you passionate about IO computing and cutting-edge industrial networks? This is your chance to join a team of skilled engineers working on core components of the software that powers our world-class robot controllers.
In this role, you will have a key position in developing our desktop application for configuring industrial networks for Ethernet and Safety within our robot control system. Your responsibilities:
Working in an agile team of Software Developers, collaborating to create robust and future-proof solutions
Developing the next generation of our WPF application. You will work primarily with WPF, .NET and C# and be an important part in the development of our future products.
You will be involved in the entire development cycle, ie design, implementation, testing and delivery.
Qualifications
A master's degree with a background in software development from your studies and previous work.
Experience in testing and competence in C#/.NET and WPF
Good understanding of C/C++
Experience in programming for industrial applications and with IO is considered qualifying
A team player with a positive mindset who enjoys sharing knowledge and ideas

Fluency in Swedish and English, written and spoken alike.
