We are looking for a R&D Senior Research Engineer - Mechanical Engineering to design and build new biorefinery processes. You will be a part of an interesting journey to development new processes and products from conceptual design to pilot operation and further to commercial scale in close cooperation with the R&D team. You will work with multi-functional teams to achieve project goals as a project leader as well as a project member with your expertise.
Main tasks:
• Perform process design, development and implementation of capital projects
• Prioritize and develop processes based on critical needs
• Evaluate current processes and recommend new ideas and techniques to ensure project success
• Develop and maintain process related documents
• Provide support and guidance to team to meet daily work demands
• Develop projects within allotted timelines and budget
• Ensure in compliance with company and industry standards both in Europe and US
Core Qualifications & Skills
• Master of Science in mechanical engineering plus more than 5 years' experience from process development or process design
• You have proven experience in project planning and management as well as experience from investment projects
• You have capability to recommend improvements and redesigns for equipment and process to meet safety, quality, production and cost goals
• You have good knowledge in Autocad and 3D models
• You have strong customer and business focus and are fluent in English. Fluency in Swedish and Finnish are a benefit.
