hela Sverige As R&D Senior Electrical Engineer you will be part of the traction team within the Robotics and Motion division. You will be responsible for electrical design of traction motors within our development projects. You will also focus on development of our dimensioning tools for tractions motors. Another important part of your work will be to challenge and set the electrically related design rules which will be used in the design work.
At the center of events, you will have close collaborations with our customers and provide advanced technical support in the sales process, as well as provide application knowledge to our global organization. You hold a university degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems, preferably with specialization in Rotating Machines and/or Electrical Drive Systems. Combining this with a minimum experience of five years in a relevant field. Currently, you probably work in a similar business with traction motor development or electrical motor design. General train service knowledge and skills in thermal design and modelling, is also qualifying. Experience in using motor design programs and general frequency converter knowledge, is also valuable.
Fluency in English is a must, written and spoken alike. Proficiency in Spanish, Chinese, German, Russian and Swedish is qualifying.
