We are looking for you, who is an engineer with at least a Master of Science degree with experience in the area of wastewater treatment, and who is genuinely interested in improving our environment.
We are world leaders in biological treatment of both municipal and industrial wastewaters, and we offer you an exciting and developing working environment.
Our clients are other companies within the Veolia group, but also individual industries and municipalities.
We know that every wastewater treatment case is unique, requiring a one-of-a-kind solution. Therefore we develop the most suitable treatment process for every case based on a deep knowledge of microbiology and broad experience in different treatment processes. We focus on the biological treatment steps where we supply knowledge and key equipment.
Now we need to strengthen our Municipal R&D Group:
The role
Work as an R&D scientist in the municipal wastewater R&D group at AnoxKaldnes in Lund. The aim of this group is to develop new as well as existing technologies for biological municipal wastewater treatment. Employment includes both laboratory work in bench- and pilot scale as well as theoretical evaluations of results arranged into written reports. The R&D work will take place in close collaboration with two other R&D scientists and a team leader in the municipal R&D group of AnoxKaldnes.
Requirements
Ph.D degree or MSc degree with experience in R&D work, preferable in the field of water- and wastewater.
Expertise in environmental biotechnology
Excellent communication skills in English (written as well as spoken)
Very good capability to compile experimental results in reports and scientific papers
Very good laboratory practise
Excellent team working skills
Experience in supervising (students or colleagues)
