Metso Paper Karlstad AB is a supplier of complete tissue machines, equipment and services to customers in the paper industry worldwide. We also offer Service and aftermarket products to Scandinavian customers within the paper, board and fiber business. In Karlstad, Metso has its own pilot plant where internal and external customers can perform trials of new developments before commercial launch or verify new machine configurations before rebuild.
As R&D Project Manager, you will be responsible for development projects within Tissue business line, and lead tissue pilot trials in order to support external and internal customers in developing new products and tissue making processes. Part of your job is to follow the development in the tissue industry within the area of responsibility and also to propose development of new products and processes. You will also support sales and engineering with design data for new products and processes as well as lead education of tissue process for internal and external customers.
To be successful in this role, you will have a University degree in chemistry or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience in engineering related business, with a general understanding of tissue industry. Deeper knowledge of Tissue process and products is a great advantage.
