Seco R&D has a single full-time resource managing all R&D project management office activities: maintenance and development of the Seco R&D Project Model, project management education, the resource management process, direct support to the project leaders, and KPI follow-up. In order to achieve the objectives set within the R&D strategy Seco will now invest and extend the capabilities and resources in the PMO area. Seco Tools is therefore, looking for an R&D Project Portfolio Coordinator.
Key performance areas
As R&D Project Portfolio Coordinator you have two significant support functions: (1) supporting project managers with direct support regarding the Seco Project Management System called Seco Project Tool and (2) assisting stakeholders with product/technology development portfolios and further developing the project portfolios. You set clear goals and maintain strategies for improvement, develop the resource allocation process, and educate stakeholders, primarily in processes related to the Seco project tool Antura.
There will be approximately fifteen to twenty travel days/year.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in engineering, natural sciences or technical science, and at least three years? of relevant experience from working with project management, resource allocation and system support. You have extensive skills in portfolio handling, including hands-on experience from systems such as PlanView, Sopheon or Antura. Experience of cross-functional organizations and manufacturing industries and know-how in developing support systems are advantageous. You are fluent in English and Swedish, both in writing and speaking, while language skills in French are highly beneficial.
