As our Release Train Engineer you will become one of the key persons in organizing the delivery of value to the rest of our organization. In this role you will work directly with cross-functional team members to ensure that our Portfolio's initiatives are delivered and executed in alignment with the overall roadmap priorities. You will be a key player in our agile environment where you will be a main contributor to the continuous planning and execution cycle. The position is based in Västerås, Sweden. Your Responsibilities
Organize and lead in an R&D context.
Manage stakeholder expectations and align priorities with others.
Risk management
Budget and forecasting
Take on roles in SAFe framework (Epic owner, Product owner and/or Scrum Master)
Facilitating the agile planning (PI Planning) and Supporting PI Execution
Coaching the Agile Release Train (ART)
Continuous improvements and operational development.

Your Background
You hold a university degree in a relevant area, such as electrical, software, industrial engineering, product development or similar. Leadership skills from line management, project management, agile roles or similar are required
You have strong motivation to drive and implement changes and improvements, good communication skills, and an organized work style
Your personality and openness to learning and venturing into unfamiliar territory are most crucial for this position
It is particularly advantageous if you have worked in a SCRUM, agile, or lean setup in the past because all teams operate in an agile environment. A plus in this capacity is SAFe experience
English proficiency is necessary, both in written and spoken form
