HemoCue is looking for a R&D Project manager. The position is reporting to VP of R&D and is a member of the R&D Leadership Team. The ideal candidate will be a project manager professional with experience from Medical Device industry who has a structured and professional approach to R&D projects in a cross functional environment. Other appreciated skills are self-motivation, a strong drive to deliver, broad technical interest, basic knowledge in economics, good in negations with suppliers and stakeholders as well as experience from lean R&D principles.
Role Responsibilities
• Development and product launch of new innovative products on-time, optimized in balance of time, product and project cost as well as quality
• Execution of projects according to Quality Management System, optimal fulfilment of ISO and QSR requirements
• Leadership and management of a cross functional project, is responsible for the project core team, managing the overall project, monitoring and reporting the progress
• Optimize Make or Buy decisions for design work and to ensure an effective execution of Design and Development outsourcing to balance the costs, quality, OTD and product performance
• Conduct feasibility studies, special projects and investigations as needed for effective project preparations and execution
Requirements
• MSc in Science in electronics, software, chemistry or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years' experience in project management or proven leadership personality within the medical technology industry
• Good knowledge of current international guidelines regarding development of medical device products ( e.g. ISO-13485 and 21 CFR 820)
• Communication skills (verbal as well as written) in English and Swedish
