www.abb.com/hvdc.Tasks:As R&D Project Manager, you will have a broad role where your work content will change depending on development tasks. You will be:- Defining and executing R&D portfolio related to HVDC and FACTS Valves including valve electronics and control or MACH Control and protection.- Responsible for lifecycle management of valve or MACH components applicable to future HVDC delivery projects and upgrades of existing HVDC stations.- Running development projects and aligning product backlog of agile teams, both within R&D and HVDC line organization. - Driving new developments in global R&D organization, including Corporate Research.Requirements:You have a civil engineering education, in either power electronics or HW and SW development, combined with experience in project management, service projects or agile development processes. It is essential that you find it easy to adapt to flexible environments, are well organized and with top communication and leadership skills. Furthermore, you consider yourself to be a driven and eager to learn professional.
