About the job
In this position, your main responsibility is to implement our strategy by leading a proficient and global team that develops and maintains digital solutions and back-end platforms. By using data, modelling, AI/ML, and smart tools, you and your team help our customers improve productivity, cost, and sustainability.
By analyzing the competitive landscape, you stay ahead of the curve and ensure that our solutions remain competitive and relevant in the market and identify areas for potential growth. Additionally, to guarantee alignment with the organization's strategy and goals, you set local targets, follow the performance and correct deviations when necessary to ensure expected results. In line with this, coaching and developing your team is also an important part of your role, as well as people management, performance management and development planning.
The location for this position is flexible between our Seco sites in Sweden, India, or central Europe with the possibility of remote work, and some occasional travel is required.
Your profile
We're looking for a business-oriented leader with skills in stakeholder management, combined with a few years' experience in the machining industry. To be successful in this role, we believe that your background involves working with global teams, and previous work with academic collaborations and new technologies (especially within machining) is beneficial. Acting in a global environment calls for proficiency in both verbal and written English.
While your background is important, we're equally interested in your soft skills! You have structure, organizational and analytical capabilities, as well as excellent collaboration skills. With clear and present leadership, you listen, coach, and engage your team. You're driven, independent and eager to explore new solutions and you genuinely know how to prioritize and deliver results.
