Paxymer AB is now looking for a devoted and experienced R&D manager with background within polymer chemistry. We can offer you a position in a stimulating environment in a small, growing company. With us you will get the possibility to further expand your knowledge in polymer chemistry, working closely with customers and through challenging and exciting development projects.
As a person you have a profound interest and wide knowledge of chemistry and thrive in an intellectual environment. You are curios and have a personal drive to investigate and solve difficult material problems and the ability to scientifically and pragmatically use known and new information to further the research and development.
Experience and understanding of problem solving towards end-customers are crucial to succeed in this position. You should therefor have a strong business acumen and ability to interact with both management and customers. Furthermore you should be organized and dedicated and enjoy working with multiple assignments simultaniously.
Responsibilities
• Develop and optimize PaxymerTM
• Develop and synthesize bio polymers
• Drive current and future development projects and provide technical depth
• Contribute to ideation and innovation process and build pipeline of innovation projects effectively
• Lead co-workers, plan and efficiently co-ordinate work in the laboratory
• Develop methods for verification of experiments, test hypothesis and quality control
We believe our candidate has a PhD in Chemistry, preferably Polymer Science or Polymer Chemistry, and at least 5 years industrial experience of product development. Fluency in both written and spoken English is a requirement.
