In Wound Care at Mölnlycke Health Care, we help to prevent, manage and accelerate the healing of wounds. Continuing to invest in a sustainable future, Mölnlycke Health Care is now hiring a Manager to the newly formed Packaging & Artwork Design group to play a critical role in our Wound Care R&D Product Engineering team.
We are looking for a leader to set direction, motivate & inspire, be authentic, develop talent & capabilities and with the ability to lead experienced co-workers. You will lead a team of passionate engineers in the development and implementation of new packaging solutions, in labelling and design changes and maintenance of existing solutions. This in order to meet customer needs, to increase competitiveness and sustainability, for compliance reasons or to secure supply. To manage the position you will need to be creative, perseverant, positive and solution oriented.
The position is full-time and based in our global HQ in Gothenburg. Parts of the team are located in our sites in Mikkeli and Oldham.

Key Accountabilities:
Lead the team in meeting their objectives in
compliant artwork and packaging documentation in new development and change projects
maintaining and developing knowledge of packaging materials
securing supply for existing packaging solutions by working with internal partners and material suppliers
Drive continuous improvements in processes and ways of working
Develop capabilities in the team to meet future challenges in quality, supply, legislation, etc
Own the packaging supplier base in collaboration with procurement and SQA
Drive the packaging sustainability agenda for Wound Care

Capabilities, Qualifications & Experience:
Master's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, life science or equivalent
Minimum 10 years of work experience from product or packaging solution development - whereof at least 5 years within the medical device industry sector
Knowledge and experience from
packaging suppliers, materials, design and converting
artwork/labelling requirements and technologies
Design/Change control as well as other medical device and packaging regulatory/quality requirements
Experience from working with PLM systems
Strong communication skills
Strong leadership and team work skills
Fluent in English both written and spoken
General business acumen
Experience from sustainability work is beneficial
