Our team, ASSA ABLOY Mobile Keys, is an R&D unit focused on developing solutions to enable mobile phones to open doors and we are currently looking for an energizing R&D Manager with technical depth and extensive experience of leading development teams to work with ASSA ABLOY's mobile key services ecosystem, Seos.
We work tightly with the ASSA ABLOY divisions, system integrators, mobile phone manufacturers and mobile network operators to implement and integrate mobile access services into phones, networks, locks and backend systems. Through this work, you will get to travel occasionally and most of the work is done in English.
Our projects typically involve multiple units and partners world-wide so experience from program management across multiple teams and projects will be valuable. One part of the job is to be the ScrumMaster and facilitator for 1-2 agile teams with highly knowledgeable developers and testers in ASSA ABLOY's head office at Klarabergsviadukten in Stockholm. 25-50% of the time will also be spent doing planning and pre-studies for next generation solutions together with our local group company experts.
The ideal candidate has a background as an application developer and experience of java, system integration, security and mobile applications. Since we use Scrum and Lean as our main development methods it is important with an agile mindset and the ability to drive projects forward through the use of smart coaching and aiding. The ideal candidate is also practical and not afraid to install beta systems etc if needed.
Wishlist:
• Minimum 5 years of experience from software development projects
• Self-going, positive do:er and facilitator with customer focus and a passion for technology and learning new skills
• Micro/Macro perspective ie the ability to see the whole and the strategy balanced with going into detail and bring focus to priorities as needed
• Practical experience from working in agile environments (Scrum, Lean, TDD, continuous improvement etc)
• Program and project management of iterative, incremental development projects in big organizations
• Programming background with knowledge of several of the following techniques: System architecture, Java (SE, EE, ME, JavaCard), Web Services/SOA, mobile phone applications, test driven development, application security.
• Experience of automated and integrated development, build and test environments
• Windows, Linux, Unix, networks.
• Excellent English and Swedish.
