Dellner Couplers in Vika, south of Falun, is an expansive and international company that delivers sustainable, innovative and high-quality products and services to train operators and train builders worldwide. Our products consist of couplers, gangways and crash management systems for the railway industry.
We are looking for a person with excellent technical knowledge, ability to both manage the overall concepts and focus on technical details understanding our customer needs with a sense of urgency along with great communication skills.
As the R & D Lead engineer you have the overall technical responsibility in our product development projects. The development team is situated in Vika, Sweden. You are a part of the development team and work closely with other engineering functions as well as global sales organization. The projects have a great variation in size, scope and technical complexity. Dellner use a modular product portfolio so focus on complete system functionality is crucial for every new developed product.
The position is placed in Vika and you report to Development manager.
We assume
• You have a BSc or MSc in Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years relevant work experience
• Fluent in English and Swedish

• Excellent technical understanding and analytical skills
• You have great communication skills with ability to lead and support colleagues with technical expertise
• Team orientated with good interpersonal skills and cooperation with colleagues, other departments, and subsidiaries
