In this position, you will be a key player for the success of the cross functional implementation of new solutions and technology development to the electrification needs of tomorrow.
Reporting to the R&D Manager, you will contribute to the successful implementation of new products in manufacturing unit, at supplier and for our customers. Furthermore, you will contribute with your creative ideas to R&D projects, as well as proposing follow-up projects and activities based on new ideas.

Your responsibilities
Work closely with sales, manufacturing, quality, and suppliers as the R&D representative.
Ensure that technical specifications are up to date and of a quality to meet the demands of the future.
Participation in cross-functional processes like PPAP evaluation, FMEA, root-cause analysis and tender reviews.
Make judgments and contribute to results through an understanding of the key business drivers for ABB.
Ensure alignment with targets and coordinate activities.
Work to improve operations and increase customer satisfaction according to incoming requests, and provide consulting services to business operations and customers.
Participate in networks to expand the knowledge of the targeted area of expertise.
Your background
A few years of experience in product engineering or product development.
Sound knowledge of technical documentation such as 3D CAD data, drawings, quality standards, PPAP and FMEA.
Knowledge of 3D CAD software, PLM system and Office.
A collaborative approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
Result-oriented mindset with a great sense of responsibility.
A Bachelor or Master 's degree in a relevant field of engineering.
Proficient in English.
