Do you want to develop and design the next generation of electrification for sustainable loader cranes? We are currently seeking an R&D Engineer, Electrification to join our Proof of Concept team.
In this role you will be responsible for developing and designing both component-level and system-level functions, features, and systems in collaboration with our Control system team. This team comprises hydraulics, software, and electronics engineers.
The position is based in Hudiksvall, and the R&D Manager Proof of Concept will be your reporting manager.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
As an Electrification Engineer, your daily work will primarily involve designing and developing electric systems that interface with mechanics, hydraulics, embedded software, and electronics. We use a variety of tools, including Matlab/Simulink, for design and simulation. You will have the opportunity to work independently and as part of a team on concept studies and development projects related to electrification.
Additionally, we offer a well-equipped lab for testing both individual components and complete machinery.
What you'll need to succeed:
Master of Science (preferable Mechatronics) or similar Practical experience.
Experience from Truck OEM interfacing, electrical and hydraulic.
You have preferable experience from hydraulic system design.
Experience from modelling and simulation is beneficial.
