Join us if you want a great chance to explore your creativity, share knowledge and deliver results in a truly collaborative and diverse environment.Your mission As a Senior R&D Engineer, you are part of an exciting and high-tech organization of different level engineers where you have tight contact with our stakeholders, suppliers and customers. You lead and take part in the development of new technology platforms (both processes and equipment) and represent the department in product development projects - aiming to introduce the latest technology for edge preparations and surface treatment on our new products. Other important parts of the role is to support the industrialization of new production platforms and to assist our production with problem solving. Adequate patent management and bringing technology insights and competition monitoring to the table is also part of the mission. Some travelling is a natural part of this job.Your profile We are looking for someone with a masters' or PhD in a relevant technical field and proven theoretical and practical experience gained from working within the area for at least 5 years'. Knowledge of carbides, hard materials and machining applications is also beneficial. As we operate in an international setting, you are fluent in English, while knowledge of Swedish is an advantage. Being creative, analytical and results-driven helps you overcome challenges in your everyday work, and you enjoy diving into technical matters within your field of expertise.
