We are looking for a R&D Engineer to work within the different areas of the development and manufacturing of anodes for battery applications.
Responsibilities
As a R&D Engineer you will be responsible for:
• Performing experimental work at our laboratory.
• Electrochemical analysis.
• Wet chemistry lab work.
• Numerical modelling and process optimizations.
• Active participation in internal and external projects.
• Work with deposition processes and high-end synthesis methods.
Who are you?
You are an extremely motivated and experimentally independent individual with an excellent ability to work at laboratory and manage your own tasks. Your main priority is the materials and method development for scalable process of nanocomposite manufacturing. You are curious and open-minded and have a result-oriented way of working. You have excellent writing and communication skills. You are hands-up and creative to learn and handle any assigned task.
Qualifications:
• Master's degree or doctorate in Experimental Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry or other relevant in the battery field
• Some knowledge in batteries and anode materials
• Previous experience in material characterization
• Experience in model development and technical programming is seen as an advantage
• Good understanding of electrochemical systems
• Working proficiency in English is required, more languages preferred
• Open and direct communication
• Organization and leadership skills with excellent ability to cooperate with colleagues and stakeholders
