About the role
As a R&D Engineer you are responsible to maintain the absolute highest standard of our beds. At Hästens we improve the life of our customers by giving them the best possible sleep through our products. As a R&D Engineer you will be responsible to enhance the heart of our business by transforming horse hair, cotton, wool, wood and other natural materials into a temple of extraordinary sleep.

Responsibilities
• Run and coordinate projects within product development, research and product compliance
• Participate in pre- studies as well as new product development projects
• Improve the features and performance of current and future design
• Developing technical documents (CAD, drawings, tech data sheet, mechanical calculation)
• Process, document, report and present data from the projects
• Communicate with suppliers
Experience and other requirements
• Bachelor- or master's degree in engineering or relevant field is required
• Experience within similar role is considered an advantage
• Basic knowledge in CAD
• Fully energized and committed
• Willing to drive change and improvements
• Technical literacy is a must,(i.e.,ERP and TA system,Excel,Keynote, etc.)
• Possibility to travel is required
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Well organized with a hands-on problem-solving attitude
• Flexible and can meet internal and statutory deadlines
